When the ATP Tour established a tournament in Moscow in 1990, Anna Kournikova was first able to demonstrate her prospective. She competed in the junior event, which swiftly led to a management deal.
After two years Anna jetted off to Florida, to train with coach Nick Bolletierri at his famous tennis academy.
She was the youngest ever winner of a Federation Cup match and won the European Championships and Italian Open juniors. Near 1995, she was ITF Junior World Champion and ranked number 1 in the world for the junior game when she was 14 years old.
There was plenty of media attention when Anna Kournikova burst onto the profesional tour in 1996 and reached the fourth round in the U.S. Open.
She followed this up with a semifinal appearance on her Wimbledon debut in 1997, losing to Martina Hingis.

Alyssa Milano is a grate actress. Seven years later, after seeing the Broadway play "Annie", she looked up to her parents and said "I can do that". At age eight her professional acting debut followed one year later, in the role of "July" in the tour of the very same Tony winning Broadway musical. As a teenager, she recorded five albums in Japan, all of which went platinum. She also played a Tokyo music festival at the world famous Budokan in front of 40,000 people.
Alyssa's husband, Cinjun Tate, is the lead singer for the rock group, Remy Zero. Alyssa joined the cast of Fox TV's "Melrose Place" and returned to Television on April 14th, 1997 when she She shot the last six episodes of the 1997 season. And in the 1998 season, she was a regular in all 33 episodes of the show. Alyssa played Jennifer Mancini, younger sister to Michael Mancini. Upon moving to Los Angeles from Boston, Jennifer started all kinds of trouble. She became Amanda's nemesis, Michael's partner in crime, and a lover to one of the characters.
